    April 15, 2015

Los Angeles, CA –As the festivities come to a close in Berlin, Random Media has signed two new titles for release in Summer 2015.

Cornelia Duryée Moore’s Camilla Dickinson, anadaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s classic novel, follows the daughter of a well-to-do family in 1948 Manhattan. Fifteen-year-old Camilla (Adelaide Clemens, The Great Gatsby, “Rectify”) leads a sheltered life in New York City until her parents’ marriage begins to fall apart. When Camilla meets her best friend’s rebellious brother Frank (Gregg Sulkin, “Faking It”) she finds a way to escape her troubles. As her relationship with Frank deepens, Camilla discovers a world outside of her own and begins to understand a little of what it means to grow up.

Supporting cast includes Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw), Samantha Mathis (“Under the Dome”, Little Women), Margaret Colin (“Gossip Girl”), Camryn Manheim (“The Practice”) and Robert Picardo (“Star Trek: Voyager”).

Random Media SVP, Acquisitions Bobby Rock negotiated the deal with producer Larry Estes, who said, “I’m delighted to have made this deal with my old friends at Random Media. I’m certain they will give this film the it attention it deserves.”

AJ Wedding’s The Jokesters has been a hit on the horror festival circuit. “Prankmasters” has been an Internet sensation for years, but the time has come for the prank gods to move on. They decide to take it to the extreme for their series finale. When their leader Ethan announces that he is getting married and leaving his friends and pranks behind, his jilted cohorts decide to pull off one final stunt: a Cabin in the Woods-inspired nightmare on his honeymoon. What happens spirals out of everyone’s control into terror.

The deal was struck between Eastgate Pictures President Ronna Wallace on behalf of Reinventing Films, with Rock representing Random Media. Reinventing Films said, “We are so thrilled that The Jokesters found its home with Random Media. Every filmmaker wants a distribution deal – we got that AND a new family to grow with. We found our people. That means the world to us.”
